A lounge that doesn't make sense! The OSL Lounge

Welcome to my first lounge review. Today I take a short look at a lounge that serves as the main lounge in Oslo's main airport, Gardermoen during covid. Pre pandemic, it seems that there was a SAS lounge as well, but it wasn't open when I visited Oslo.

The OSL lounge is quite small, and doesn't have a lot to offer, but what it offers is kinda weird.

First, let's start by the not so weird part: The lounge has some nice and comfortable seating options, which is pretty nice though. The rest of the lounge's offers seems weird, for example the bathrooms look used, at least the men's toilet, as well, finding a spot to charge your devices is quite difficult, I disconnected a cable for a lamp to get some energy for my aging smartphone. The lounge also offers some nice sun visors with integrated sensors, that automatically cause the visor to operate, when needed. Unfortunately this highly advanced technology isn't highly recommendable in a place like Oslo where the weather seems to change every 5 minutes, so the sun visor spent its time going up and down for the whole stay in the lounge, at least I know that those motors passed the endurance test!

In terms of food, the food options are quite wide but unfortunately the options doesn't make any sense, so for example they offered a big bowl full of cut olives, which I don't know what you wanna do with them in those huge masses. As well the taste is good but nothing extraordinary.

The bar though is pretty decent, you can find something for every taste, but the choice isn't that big. I went for a gin tonic, that was mixed by the staff as a covid measurement, it was quite strong, but maybe it enhanced the mood in the lounge.

To conclude: I liked the stay, but there where many things that where quite funny, that's why I wrote the article quite ironic.
