Another disaster with Helvetic? E190-E2 Business

Flying Helvetic for the 4th time now, with all my previous ones being a complete disaster, I expected an eventful flight, but not at all a good flight, and well, I wasn't disappointed but it was so funny on board, that the only thing I can do is laughing about the flight. At least they didn't cared about safety regulations this time. So let me tell you the story of this journey.

All started with boarding, when some people sat in the business class, without having a valid boarding pass for business. As there was no divider between those two classes, it was kind of understandable that those people thought, that those seats are unoccupied economy seats, but they where unoccupied business seats in the typical European fashion. But, I find this behavior absolutely cheeky, when boarding isn't finished, you shouldn't move seats in my opinion. Anyways, so during the whole boarding process, the crew was trying to find the people that where not supposed to sit where they sat which made it extremely chaotic.

Once completed boarding and having sorted all business class guests from the economy passengers, take off was on time and soon after, the plane reached cruise altitude and service begun. The food was quite good, it consisted of some cereal, and a plate with cheese, meat and some melon, that surprisingly was ripe, but I don't know where they got it from in the middle of European winter. The food plater was beautifully accompanied by some warm bread and the usual drinks on offer in a short haul service.

But the business/economy class problem continued... this time it was the fault of the crew. The crew was surprisingly nice, but as usual with Helvetic, extremely unprofessional, so the disaster continued. One cabin crew served some business food to some of the economy guests, which isn't a big deal, as mistakes are human, but how the two flight attendants for business dealt with the situation wasn't too nice. When the "maitre de cabine" found out about the mistake, she started shouting at the other one in the middle of the aisle in front of every passenger, everyone could hear them, and knew about their mistake. This was, I assume extremely embarrassing for the flight attendant that made the mistake but as well it wasn't nice for the guests in the plane as their meal was accompanied by some nice sounds coming from some arguing flight attendants. It must have also not been to nice for the passengers who got the meal even though flying economy. All in all, the crew should have discussed this in the galley and not in front of the passengers. As an advise for Helvetic, please bring back that curtain in your new E2 planes. It gives your guests more privacy and helps the crew orienting, as well it helps the passengers who want to change seats, to find one, they paid for!

After landing, I was able to meet the captains which absolutely was a highlight! By getting to know the crew a little closer, also the cabin crew opened up as I was chatting with them, so within the last seconds of me being on board they changed my opinion on the overall experience on board. But I still find it absolutely inappropriate how they dealt with mistakes during flight! Would I fly Helvetic again? Probably yes, because I have to, but I'd never fly them because I want to.
