Today flying on board LX1210 from Zürich to Oslo, flight time was 2h 5min and the flight was packed with loads of tourists, aiming for their summer holidays in Norway. I was seated in seat 2A, which is a normal economy class seat with the middle seat left vacant, making it a business class seat. This was rather disappointing but sadly, this is the norm with all European carriers on their narrow body fleets. The seat pitch was alright and there is really nothing more to say on that seat.
Arriving at the seat during boarding, which went uneventful, you get a bottle of water.
Right after the departure, the service began, and even though it was a 2h flight, there was no hot food service. We where served something that I still don't know what it is. The salad was alright, the desert extremely tasty and those white balls where just disgusting, do you know what this is?
After the meal, they served some coffee after and for the rest of the flight the cabin was pretty silent.
The last point I want to focus on, was the crew, they where really not that good. The "maître de cabine" was just ignoring me the whole flight, which was rather weird. Of course I was the youngest person in the whole business class cabin, which might seem a bit weird but this definitely should not lead to worse service than the others get. The others where always asked wether they wan't some more drinks or bread, they where not asked that friendly, but at least they where asked. I was not asked and always had to ask them for the things I wanted by my own which isn't the premium treatment I paid for.
To conclude, the flight was nice, as this was only a flight that brought me to the actual starting point of my journey it was okay. But if I'd have booked the flight just to fly Swiss business class on that flight, I'd definitely be disappointed.
